A transport services provider in Singapore is seeking a maintenance technician to assist with various activities in the DTL Systems Department. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, alongside experience in maintenance and commissioning of Railway Communications Systems. Responsibilities include conducting audits and supporting team leaders to meet safety and reliability standards.
Assist and implement the maintenance activities of DTL Systems Department as assigned by Snr/Assistant Engineer.
Responsible for failure analysis and investigation of Systems under the care of DTL Systems Department.
Responsible for the replacement program for Systems under the care of DTL Systems Department.
Responsible for cost saving, improvement and upgrading work for Systems under the care of DTL Systems Department.
Assist team leader for DTL Systems Maintenance to meet the required standards of safety, reliability and availability.
Support Executive to achieve ISO certifications and implementation.
Collaborate with the contractors for the defects and modification works to ensure a smooth process.
Implement of maintenance work to ensure work integrity and standards.
Study and analyse the faults and propose for improvement to supervisor.
Support Executive to monitor all modifications and upgrading of the equipment in the Systems under the care of DTL Systems Department.
Assist Executive to manage, develop and implement Work Instructions and Specifications for maintenance of the equipment and subsystems.
Monitor and conduct regular audit on the maintenance of the equipment and process
Support Section Head to manage and review R&P/Work Instruction periodically.
Conduct investigation for incidents and delays related to Systems under the care of DTL Systems Department.
Assist Executive to develop, plan and conduct of in-house courses according to WSQ for maintenance staff.
Assist Section Head or Executive for any A&A, upgrading and project work.
Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least three years of relevant experience for Higher Nitec holder
Knowledge in computer hardware and software applications
Experience in maintenance of Railway Communications and ISCS Systems.
Experience in testing and commissioning of Communications and ISCS Systems.
Hands-on experience in start-up operations.
Able to lead a team to perform maintenance work

Able to perform 3 rotating shift work
