What The Role Is

You are responsible in undertaking various Vocation Advisory Authority (VAA) and Human Resource (HR) portfolios and responsibilities as part of the Manpower Branch in the Command.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Develop and execute deployment and training plans
  • Implement and administer HR initiatives and processes
  • Liaise with Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) on administration of courses
  • Guide and advise stakeholders on HR matters
  • Contribute to digitalising and automating HR processes
Challenge(s)
  • Responding swiftly to changing scenarios and being flexible in tackling unexpected challenges
  • Working with multiple stakeholders to balance their interests with organisational needs
  • Enhancing service delivery to provide positive onboarding experience and career journey for the NS population
  • Liaising with all levels of management and presenting to senior management
