Job description

We are seeking a fundraiser with dynamism with a desire for growth and exposure in their strategic overview. This role will lead the development of a comprehensive corporate engagement plan and to execute effective and targeted fundraising strategies to support our mission and programmes. The position shall focus on expanding our pool of corporate supporters, cultivate relationships with donors, and co-manage fundraising campaigns and events.

Strategic Fundraising Planning
  • Develop a well thought campaign strategy with budget and fundraising tactics to engage corporate supporters.
  • Work closely with Executive Leadership Team to identify related fundraising priorities and opportunities with performance metrics to measure success.
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities in corporate and institutional giving. These may include grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Events and Partnership team to foster collaboration to ensure alignment in achieving fundraising goals.
Donor Cultivation & Stakeholder Management
  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit financial contributions and gifts from corporations, and foundations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  • Suggest and implement ideas for stewardship plans to recognize and engage donors.
Grant Writing & Proposal Development
  • Research and develop a prospect list for grants and sponsorships that align with the organization's programs and initiatives.
  • Develop related proposals and reports to secure funding from diverse sources.
Event Planning & Campaigns
  • Work with the Partnerships team to plan and execute fundraising activities, including major donor cultivation, online campaigns and special events.
  • Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to generate financial support and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create promotional materials for campaigns.
Job Requirements
  • Recognised degree.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience, of which at least 5 years in a management capacity.
  • Prior experience in fundraising will be an advantage, and a track record can be an advantage.
  • An appreciation of regulations and guidelines in the charities sector.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
