Job Opportunity: Assistant Baker (Seasonal Contract)

Location: Kovan – 183 Jalan Pelikat Singapore 537643

Duration: 3December – 15 February

Working Schedule: 5-day work week/ weekdays wednesday - friday (minimum 3 days per week) / or weekends (2 days per week)

Working Hours: weekdays 11:00pm -7:00pm / weekends 10:00am-6:00pm (8 working hours + 1 hour break daily)

Salary: 12-13 SGD per hour

Position: Assistant Baker

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Baker to support our production team during the festive and peak season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys baking cookies in a hands‑on baking environment and is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the head chef in daily bakery preparation and production
• Perform basic piping and tart shaping
• Support in mise en place and ingredient handling
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Cooperate effectively with the team to meet production timelines

Requirements

• Good team player with a positive attitude
• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Interest in baking or previous baking experience is preferred
• No previous work experience required but basic knowledge of baking will be an advantage
• Responsible, punctual and detail‑oriented
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
• A valid SFA food hygiene certificate will be an advantage
