Job summary

A leading development firm in Singapore is seeking an accountant to manage daily operations, ensure compliance, and prepare financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and proven accounting experience. Proficiency in both Chinese and English is required. The role offers opportunities for overseas assignments in Vietnam and the USA. Candidates with experience in multinational corporations and knowledge of ERP systems are preferred.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, month‑end closing, and prepare accurate financial statements and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support tax filings, external audits, and annual budgeting activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights for management decisions.
• Willing to learn and support Treasury functions, including:
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Bank relationship management
  • Funds allocation and liquidity control
• Serve as an Overseas Assignment Reserve Cadre with opportunities to be stationed in Bắc Ninh (Vietnam), Fremont (USA), or Texas (USA).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Proven experience in accounting, with strong knowledge of financial reporting and closing processes.
• Professional proficiency in both Chinese and English (mandatory).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to learn Treasury functions is highly preferred.
• Interest and willingness to be part of the Overseas Assignment Reserve Cadre.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience in Transfer Pricing (TP) compliance and Country‑by‑Country Reporting (CbCR) is a strong advantage.
• Experience in multinational corporations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of IFRS or international accounting practices.
