Candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering, alongside 3-5 years of sales experience preferably in industrial or steel sectors. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. The role involves identifying new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely quotations and support. A willingness to travel up to 30% within ASEAN is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for carbon steel pipes across assigned accounts and sectors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
• Provide timely quotations, order confirmations and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Advise customers on product specifications, standards and suitability for project requirements.
• Prepare sales proposals and support tender submissions in coordination with manufacturers.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activity and pricing trends.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in industrial or steel-related sales preferred
• Familiar with international pipe standards (API, ASTM, EN)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Able to interpret technical specifications and drawings
• Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience is beneficial
• Willing to travel when required (up to 30% ASEAN)
