Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer located in Singapore. The Senior Full Stack & Cloud Application Architect is responsible for the design, enhancement, maintenance, and operational stability of enterprise-grade web and mobile applications hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure. The role provides technical leadership across frontend, backend, cloud architecture, and DevOps, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of the system.

This role will lead enhancement and maintenance activities for applications built using React, React Native, Next.js, .NET 6, and AWS managed services, while ensuring compliance with organizational and government IT standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable architectures using AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Amplify, RDS Aurora MySQL, ElastiCache Redis, S3, Glue, CloudFront, Quciksight and React JS, Native.
• Ensure consistent UI/UX standards, performance optimisation, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Architect, develop, and maintain .NET 6 RESTful APIs hosted on AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
• Manage background processing using Hangfire with Redis for job scheduling and queue management.
• Design and optimise data models using AWS RDS Aurora MySQL.
• Implement caching strategies using AWS ElastiCache Redis to improve performance and scalability.
• Manage file and object storage using Amazon S3, including lifecycle and access policies.
• Lead production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis. Coordinate enhancements, bug fixes, and release management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in application and cloud architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS-based enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting high-availability production systems.
• Prior experience in Singapore government is highly advantageous.
