Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an Afterschool Care Teacher. This role involves implementing a Chinese language program, guiding primary school children in their homework, and maintaining classroom resources and safety. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or higher with at least 2 years of teaching experience with primary school students. This role is full-time with 5.5 working days per week, offering a salary of $2,200 - $3,400.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Chinese language program for the class.
• Guide primary school children to ensure completion of daily homework.
• Keep accurate records of children's progress and address their needs.
• Prepare and maintain teaching resources and classroom environment.
• Build relationships with children and parents.
• Conduct unique enrichment programmes.
• Ensure safety and timely transfer of students.
• Ensure safety of children within the premises.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as delegated.

• Working Hours-Monday to Friday 1030am to 7pm- Saturday 9.30amto1.30pm
• Salary : $2,200 - $3,400

Job Responsibilities

• Implement the Chinese language program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the centre.
• Guide primary school children (primary 1 to 5) to ensure completion of daily homework.
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address each child’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability.
• Responsible for the preparation and upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance and learning environment of the classroom.
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.
• Conduct unique enrichment programmes.
• Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre.
• Ensure safety of children within the premises.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Director.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or higher in any discipline with minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with primary school students.
