Job summary

A community organization in Singapore is seeking an individual to assist with bursary applications, manage events, and handle data entry tasks. The role requires a minimum of GCE A Level education, at least 2 years of administrative experience, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Candidates should be prepared to work weekends. This role is contract-based from late January to mid-May 2026, and only selected candidates will be notified.

  • Ability to work on weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collation, data entry and assessment of bursary applications.
  • Follow up with volunteers, beneficiary schools and organisations on bursary applications.
  • Compile statistical data for bursary applications.
  • Organise and execute bursary award presentation ceremonies.
  • Manage hongbao distribution and ration distribution events.

  • Assist in the compilation of bursary applications statistical data
  • Assist in organising and executing the bursary award presentation ceremonies
  • Assist in the hongbao distribution exercise and ration distribution events as and when necessary
  • Any other task assigned by the Education Foundation and Welfare Foundation Council / Secretariat
Entry Requirements
  • Contract from late January to mid May 2026 (non-renewable)
  • Minimum GCE A Level or equivalent and above
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of administrative experience
  • Proficient in MS Words and Excel
  • Event Management skills
  • Able to work on weekends (one day off on weekday and one day off on Sunday)
