Job summary

A financial consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full sets of accounts for various clients. Responsibilities include month-end closings, preparation of management accounts, and mentorship of junior associates. Ideal candidates possess an ACCA or Degree in Finance and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MYOB and Xero is a plus. This role provides an opportunity to deliver expert financial management services and ensure high-quality work.

Tasks & responsibilities
  • Full Set of Accounts Management: Independently manage the complete set of accounts for various clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Month-End Closings: Execute month-end closing processes efficiently for multiple companies.
  • Management Accounts Preparation: Develop comprehensive monthly management accounts and reporting packages.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior associates, fostering their professional growth.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee junior associates to ensure high-quality work and achieve departmental goals.
  • Financial Management Support: Assist in delivering expert financial management services to our clients.
  • Problem-Solving: and resolve accounting issues promptly as they arise.
  • Client Advisory: Provide clients with insightful advice on finance operations, accounting systems, and reporting requirements.
  • Ad-Hoc Assignments: Tackle special projects and assignments as needed.
Qualifications & experience
  • ACCA/ Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience will be advantageous.
  • Good work ethic, initiative, keen to learn new things and acquire new knowledge.
  • Mature personality and willing to learn.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MYOB, Microsoft Office and Xero would be an added advantage.
