Job summary

A leading manpower consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a dedicated finance professional to establish and maintain accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, proficiency in MS Office and preferably in SAP B1, along with strong analytical and organizational skills. Responsibilities include managing the general ledger, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely compliance with GST regulations.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure to deliver results timely and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and reconcile the general ledger.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and income statements.
  • Responsible for GST reporting.

Responsibilities
  1. Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger
  2. Establish, maintain and reconcile AP, AR and inter-company balances
  3. Prepare bank reconciliation
  4. Prepare Income Statements and Statement of Financial Position
  5. Establish and maintain cash disbursement and controls
  6. Prepare monthly reports and perform variance analysis
  7. Responsible for GST reporting
  8. Assist with preparation of budget
  9. Maintain financial files and records and computerized accounting system
  10. Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • SAP B1 experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in manufacturing environment an advantage
  • Strong numeric analysis capability
  • Committed and able to work under pressure to deliver results timely and accurately
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational and planning skills
