Position
The Accounts & Logistics Executive partners closely with internal stakeholders, shared service team, vendors, and store teams to ensure accurate financial processing, smooth logistics execution, and compliance with company policies.
Job responsibilities
Accounting
- Coordinate across departments and partner with shared service team to accurately review, verify and process invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support the retail team to process client refunds
- Manage the dispute management (chargeback) related issues with banks/credit companies
- Review outstanding credit notes on a regular basis
- Serve as an escalation point for vendor related matters such as payment, vendor creation/ modification
- Assist in preparation and review of expense reports
- Support month-end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and reports related to accounts payable shared service team
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Logistics
- Monitor direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance or logistics quality management
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Handle day-to-day stock management in system
- Manage CITES application to support stores' sales of exotic leather goods
Profile
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy with least 3 years of experience/ similar capacity
Work Experience
- Previous experience in accounting
Skills & Qualities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience in SAP accounting software will be an added advantage
- Diligent, detailed-oriented, willing to learn and develop
