Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts & HR Admin Executive to manage daily accounting tasks and provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accounting and proficiency in MS Office. The role offers a permanent position with a competitive salary package, working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software such as Xero experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting tasks including AP, AR, GL, petty cash, and journal entries.
  • Prepare supplier and subcontractor payments with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Support month-end closing, perform bank reconciliations, and assist in preparing financial reports.
  • Assist with GST submissions and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks when required.
  • Provide administrative support to project and design teams.
  • Assist in recruitment activities including job postings and interview arrangements.
  • Maintain employee records, process payroll, and handle CPF submissions.

Skills

  • Salary Package: Basic Salary + HP Allowance + Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting tasks including AP, AR, GL, petty cash, and journal entries.
  • Prepare supplier and subcontractor payments with proper documentation and approvals.
  • Assist in preparing progress claims, client invoicing, and follow up on collections.
  • Support month-end closing, perform bank reconciliations, and assist in preparing financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate filing of accounting records and supporting audit documents.
  • Assist with GST submissions and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks when required.
  • Handle office administrative duties such as managing supplies, utilities, and service contracts.
  • Provide administrative support to project and design teams and coordinate meetings for managers and directors.
  • Assist in recruitment activities including job postings, interview arrangements, and candidate coordination.
  • Maintain employee records, process payroll, and handle CPF submissions, leave, and attendance records.
  • Prepare reports for management related to manpower, HR, and finance.
  • Coordinate with project teams and quantity surveyors on subcontractor payments and project accounts.
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned by management.
