Job summary

A reputable construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounts / Finance Manager to lead their finance team. Responsibilities include overseeing full accounting operations, budgeting, and providing strategic financial insights to management. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in the construction industry. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the company’s full set of accounts, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
  • Lead budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting
  • Review and strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and cost management systems
  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to management for business decision-making
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and external stakeholders on all financial matters
  • Supervise a small accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Ensure all financial activities align with corporate objectives and support business growth
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA)
  • Experience in the construction industry is a strong advantage
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, including leadership or managerial exposure
  • Proven track record in managing full sets of accounts and leading finance operations
