Responsibilities:
- Manage and track payments and collections across multiple business units, ensuring timelines are met.
- Assist in managing disbursement procedures, credit control, and collection workflows.
- Contribute to treasury operations by supporting cash flow monitoring, payables/receivables handling, and inventory cost tracking.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities, including the preparation of a full set of accounts.
- Ensure supplier payments are processed on schedule, with accurate documentation and approvals.
- Post tax invoices and credit memos into the accounting system, ensuring they are backed by complete and valid supporting documents.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve any issues related to invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including tagging and regular updates to the asset register.
- Process staff expense claims in line with internal deadlines and policy requirements.
- Ensure that all financial documentation adheres to statutory and audit compliance standards.
- Post and review journal entries for all major accounting areas including payables, receivables, general ledger, and fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Perform monthly bank and sub-ledger reconciliations, ensuring timely clearance of reconciling items.
- Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned to support the finance team’s objectives.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience managing a full set of accounts.
- Comfortable using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Prior experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
