Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an Accounting Executive to manage retail sales accounts receivable and support overall accounting tasks. The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting, along with 1 to 3 years of experience in AR/AP/GL functions. Successful candidates will have strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills. This position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, offering a competitive basic salary with potential variable bonus.

• Basic up to $3600 + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle retail sales AR, including collection tracking and reconciliation
• Manage non-retail / non-trade AR, including billing, collection, and reconciliation
• Perform bank statement reconciliations and prepare related reports
• Process back-end collections, refunds, and adjustments accurately
• Maintain AR schedules and supporting documentation
• Prepare and submit CAG sales reports in a timely manner
• Prepare and post GL journal entries
• Assist with audit schedules and respond to audit queries
• Update and monitor foreign exchange (FOREX) records
• Support month-end closing activities to meet reporting timelines
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and finance-related projects as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting / ACCA qualification
• 1–3 years of experience in AR / AP / GL accounting functions
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills
• Finance-savvy with sound business understanding
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
