Job Descriptions

Responsibilities
  • Maintain full sets of accounts including perform all business data entry of payables, receivables, intercompany billing, journal entries, bank reconciliation, stock reconciliation and fixed assets registration.

  • Perform reconciliation for receivables, payables, bank, inventory and intercompany transactions.

  • Prepare balance sheet schedules, management accounts, operational and finance reports.

  • Prepare non inventory purchase order and process requisition request.

  • Process payment and assist in cashflow management.

  • Process and manage staff expenses claim.

  • Manage and create customer/supplier master into accounting system.

  • Manage collections and follow up on overdue payments.

  • Prepare and submit corporate income tax and quarterly GST returns.

  • Liaise directly with internal and external stakeholders including Sales team, Customer Service team, Auditors, Tax agents, Banks, Corporate Secretarial agents and government authorities to facilitate smooth operation.

  • Assist in year-end audit and prepare financial statements from audited accounts.

  • Assist in preparation of forecast and budget.

  • Assist in finance related projects such as internal control/system implementation and/or streamlining of accounting processes.

  • Provide any other ad hoc duty and administrative task assigned by management.

Qualifications / Experience Required
  • Diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in similar capacity.

  • MNC experience preferred.

  • Prior experience using JDE system is a plus.

Key Competencies
  • Competent with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Tax rules and GST rules

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong attention to details, possess good problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to priorities and work independently to tight timeframes and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Committed, organized, good attitude, good communication skill & process strong initiative.

  • Preferably able to start work immediately or short notice.
