Job summary

A local company in Singapore is seeking candidates for a dual role that encompasses both accounting and HR responsibilities. This position will involve managing financial reports, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and supporting HR functions such as recruitment and payroll processing. Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties:

  • Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Ensure timely closing of accounts and submission of management reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IRAS regulations.
  • Manage GST submissions and corporate tax filings.

HR Duties:

  • Handle full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR database.
  • Process monthly payroll and statutory submissions (CPF, IR8A, IR21 etc.).
  • Manage employee leave, attendance, and claims administration.
  • Assist in the review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and employment laws.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Support performance appraisal and employee engagement activities.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related fields.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in both accounting and HR roles.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero) and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Singapore tax, CPF, and labour laws.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
