Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking an Accountant to manage data entry, bank reconciliation, and staff claims. The ideal candidate has a relevant diploma and at least one year of experience, or is a fresh graduate. Proficiency in MYOB, MS Excel, and MS Word is preferred. This role mandates attention to detail and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a CAT Certification/LCCI/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data entry of transactions into accounting system
• Perform Monthly Bank reconciliation & GST reconciliation for Input Tax & Output Tax
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Handle all staffs claim
• Account payable - keying of invoices and book into accounting system, check and ensure the supporting documents, handle suppliers payment and Supplier statement reconciliation.
• Calculate and allocate the cost of manpower into various project.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist in auditing matters.
• Maintain proper filling and records
• Ensure that accounting reports and supporting documents are in compliance with regulations, standards and practices
• Perform any other tasks as required by Accountant

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a CAT Certification/LCCI/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position
• Experienced in MYOB accounting software preferred
• Proficient in MS EXCEL and MS Word
• Meticulous with positive working attitude and able to meet deadlines
