Job description

The Accounts Executive and Finance Officer collectively support the organization’sfinance function by ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with internal and statutory requirements. Together, these roles manage daily accounting transactions, financial reporting, treasury operations,tax matters, and internal controls. The team works closely to process invoices,maintain ledgers, prepare financial statements, monitor cash flow, and supportaudits. They also liaise with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and external parties such as auditors, banks, and tax authorities to ensure the smooth execution of the company’s financial activities.

Job responsibilities: (Competency)
  • Process supplier invoices, staffclaims, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare customer billings,maintain AR ageing, and perform collection follow-ups.
  • Manage general ledger accountingand ensure the accuracy of journal entries.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations andupdate cash books.
  • Maintain proper filing ofaccounting documents.
  • Manage full-set accounts, prepare monthly financialstatements, management reports.
  • Resolve billing discrepanciesthrough coordination with internal departments.
  • Ensure adherence to companyaccounting policies and procedures.
  • Handle GST, tax computations, andliaise with external tax agents.
  • Coordinate with auditors onstatutory audits and ensure audit readiness.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers andapply correct depreciation methods.
  • Strengthen internal controls andenforce compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements:(Skills)
  • Diploma or Degree inAccounting/Finance.
