The ideal candidate will possess a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting duties for construction projects.
• Conduct cash flow updates and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with suppliers on invoice discrepancies.
• Assist with annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Maintain tracking and record keeping.
• Prepare ad-hoc finance reports as assigned.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting & finance duties including Accounts Payable / Receivable, GST, and General Ledger for construction projects
• Conduct cash flows updates and monitoring and prepare bank reconciliations
• Liaise with suppliers and business units on any discrepancies in invoices and other supporting documents.
• Assist with annual audits
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, financial accounting regulations, policies and procedures
• Liaise with in-house Accountant
• Tracking and record keeping
• Other ad-hoc finance reports/duties assigned by the Management

Job Requirements:

• Candidate should at least possess a Degree in Accountancy, ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Preferably have 3-5 years of construction industry working experience
• A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and tight deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Familiar with Quickbook software
• Able to adapt to dynamic & fast-pace environment.
• Must be meticulous & attentive to details
• Good communication skills and Independent
• Well-versed in Mandarin (spoken and written) as you will liaise with both Chinese foreign local clients/suppliers
