ROLE
- Perform full set of accounts
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly closing account for AME holding and AME International including:
- Preparing audit schedule for all Balance Sheet items, which includes hire purchase, term loan, prepayment, accruals, revaluation, fixed assets, ROU assets, lease liabilities, TR & etc...
- Reconciling AP, AR ageing, payroll, Interco balance and resolve any discrepancies
- Preparing general journal for month end closing
- Preparing management report
- Guide and review Account Assistants' work such as sales report, GST report, purchase invoice, Interco transactions and other double entries
- Prepare quarterly GST report for submission to IRAS
- Support and resolve any problems encountered for posting accounting entries into NAV system
- Handle system year end closing
- Recommend double entries for accuracy of recording in the books of account
- Develop 12 months Balance sheet and Profit/Loss in the NAV system for detailed management reporting
- Liaise with IRAS for GST issues
- Answer audit and tax queries
- Handle Fixed assets register and disposal/write-offs
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- At least Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 year's accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Knowledge in Accountancy software (i.e. SAP, MYOB, UPS, FACT)
