Job description
Infant Care Teacher
  • Location: Tampines / Rochor / Fajar / Multiple Locations!!
  • Working Days: Mon-Fri
  • Working hours : 44 hours per week
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create a secure and quality learning environment for the children through nurturing trusting and respectful relationships with them.
  • Enrich children’s learning by co-designing and implementing a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum, while integrating innovative teaching and learning practices.
  • Proactive and intentional in strengthening partnerships with families and the community, and co-design collaborative efforts with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve this goal.
  • Guide the junior educators in enhancing their professional practice.
  • Provide suggestions, ideas to improve professional development in the preschool, while also contributing to the preschool's culture of collaboration and collegiality.
  • Responsive to the needs of infants and toddlers.
  • Create a secure environment for infants and toddlers through nurturing respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with them.
  • Create a quality learning environment through implementing developmentally appropriate curricula and programmes.
  • Build trusting and respectful relationships and partnerships with stakeholders by actively engaging the children’s family and community.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice, and contribute to fostering a culture of collaboration and collegiality with relevant stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care & Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC)/ Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
  • Candidates who are currently undergoing HCIC/ACEY are welcome to apply too
  • Preferably with relevant experience in teaching infant and toddler
