Job summary

Job description

Procurement Assistant

Working Hours: 8:30 am–5:30 pm (Mon–Fri)

Salary: $2,000–$3,000

Location: Joo Koon Circle

Job Responsibilities

Purchase Orders (PO)

  • Prepare and issue POs based on approved requests.
  • Check pricing, quantity, delivery terms, and vendor details.
  • Obtain required approvals and send POs to vendors.

Vendor Coordination

  • Liaise with vendors on order confirmation, delivery schedule, and shipment status.
  • Follow up on delays or discrepancies.

Data & Documentation

  • Maintain Part Numbers, Vendor Codes, and item master data in ERP.
  • Update supplier records and ensure proper filing of documents.

Administrative Support

  • Prepare PO tracking and procurement reports.
  • Assist with general admin and inventory-related tasks.

Compliance & Improvement

  • Ensure processes follow company policies and procurement procedures.
  • Support improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of procurement or admin experience (electronics industry is an advantage).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (IFS, SAP, etc.).
  • Strong communication, organisation, and negotiation skills.
