About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for Waiter for Food and Beverage Department to join Jumeirah Group.

Responsibilities
  • Handle guests’ inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found, assuring follow‑up.
  • Ensure that high standard of personal hygiene and grooming is strictly observed and followed.
  • Ensure the guests of the outlet experience an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience by following the outlet sequence of service.
  • Assist guests by explaining how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
  • Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
  • Escort guests to their tables.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Higher Secondary School certificate.
  • Previous experience in a similar waiter role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Desired:

  • Preferred to be experienced in luxury hospitality.
  • Previous experience in a similar role highly regarded.
