Job summary

Hyatt Place AlUla is seeking an experienced Team Leader - Information System to oversee the IT operations for the hotel’s launch and ongoing activities. You will manage the IT team, protect system security, and ensure reliable technology services across all departments.

You will support pre-opening IT setup, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with Hyatt IT standards. Fluency in English and strong hospitality IT experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in IT operations, preferably within hotels or hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
• Experience with hotel technology systems and property management systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the IT team.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
• Provide technical support to hotel colleagues and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor the performance and security of IT systems and implement corrective actions when required.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, telecommunication equipment, and network devices.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system maintenance, upgrades, and technical support.
• Ensure regular data backups, system updates, and cybersecurity measures are implemented.
• Maintain IT documentation, system inventories, and asset records.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt IT standards, information security policies, and operational procedures.

Team Leader - Information System

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader - Information System to support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.

Your role

As the Team Leader - Information System, you’ll oversee the daily IS operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the hotel’s technology infrastructure while supporting all departments with efficient IT services and maintaining operational continuity.
