Job description

It has diversified its project portfolio, spanning various sectors such as industrial, distribution, manufacturing, office, retail, recreational, healthcare, and commercial across the kingdom.

Furthermore, it has recently joined a larger engineering services group, prioritizing value-added construction services, and has successfully completed over SR 3 billion worth of construction across 60 projects, emphasizing strong customer relationships and outstanding performance.

Work Location: Rotation in Saudi Arabia.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise and oversee site execution of infrastructure works (earthworks, cut & fill, grading, subgrade, subbase, base course, and asphalt works).

• Monitor and coordinate the daily activities of site teams, subcontractors, and equipment operators.

• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure accurate implementation.

• Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment requirements for efficient site operations.

• Ensure compliance with project schedules and highlight risks or delays to the Project Manager.

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures and safety standards on-site.

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspections, approvals, and progress updates.

• Prepare and maintain site reports, daily logs, and progress documentation.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and site supervisors.

• Identify and resolve site issues, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• + 12 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects, with strong expertise in earthwork, cut & fill, and road construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, and other relevant software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities effectively.
