About the position

The sales manager will be responsible for developing and driving sales opportunities by translating deep domain expertise and product knowledge into compelling positioning, competitive and selling strategies. The goal is to promote rapid adoption of MGI solutions, resulting in increased sales success by providing segment and technical knowledge to sales opportunities. The sales manager will develop key sales opportunities and build a community of satisfied customers by working with district sales personnel, sales channel partners and marketing in both pre- and post-sales activities.

This role will focus on driving the MGI Genomics Platform & Automation Platform & Bio bank Solution & Remote Ultrasound System business in ME to facilitate the adoption of MGI technology across reproductive health, oncology infectious disease in Genomics applications. Additional travel outside of the region may be occasionally required.

Your duties as a Sales Manager include but are not limited to the following:
  • Participate in decomposing Middle East regional sales targets and drive the achievement of regional sales KPIs.
  • Connect with local medical/IVD channel resources; follow up the full process from demand exploration, solution proposal, bidding to contract signing, and resolve obstacles in business advancement.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with core regional clients; coordinate resources to support key project implementation and boost revenue growth.
  • Gather Middle East market dynamics and competitor information; optimize sales strategies based on team performance;
  • Participate in industry events to enhance regional brand penetration.
The successful candidates for this position are able to demonstrate:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in overseas sales or channel management is preferred.
  • Sales experience in the medical/IVD industry; familiarity with industry channel models is a plus.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (working languages); willing to reside in Saudi Arabia with strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to participate in decomposing sales and channel targets; strong sense of execution and performance-driven mindset.
