The Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all furniture delivery projects managed by the Project leaders. This role focuses on governance, leadership, and cross-functional alignment to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the expected quality standards. The Delivery Manager serves as the escalation point for delivery challenges, ensures adherence to company processes, and drives continuous improvement in project execution.

Job Accountabilities & Activities
Leadership & Oversight
  • Manage, mentor, and support Project leaders in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Ensure Project Leaders are aligned with company delivery standards, client expectations, and project goals.
  • Regularly review project plans, timelines, and risk assessments prepared by Project Managers.
Governance & Process Control
  • Adhere to the standard operating procedures for project delivery, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Review and approve project schedules, milestone tracking, and delivery reports prepared by Project Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial and contractual guidelines, escalating scope or commercial issues to the Sales team when necessary.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the senior escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders in case of critical delivery issues or disputes.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Logistics, Procurement, and Installation Managers to ensure smooth coordination across departments.
  • Provide regular executive-level updates on project performance, risks, and delivery outcomes.
Reporting & Communication
  • Consolidate and share weekly project delivery reports, highlighting progress, key milestones achieved, upcoming deliverables, and any risks or challenges.
  • Ensure transparency in communication with leadership and other stakeholders by proactively flagging critical risks and proposed mitigation strategies.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor KPIs for project delivery, including timeliness, budget adherence, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-project reviews with Project Managers to capture lessons learned and implement process improvements.
  • Drive efficiency initiatives within the delivery function to optimize cost, time, and resource utilization.
Risk & Issue Management
  • Oversee risk management strategies across all delivery projects.
  • Ensure risks flagged by Project Leaders are addressed proactively, and corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Manage escalations related to vendor performance, logistics challenges, or product quality concerns.
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Project Management Professional (PMP™) certificate or relevant.

Risk Management Professional (RMP™) certificate – preferred

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 7 years’ proven experience in project management and delivery, with hands‑on exposure in at least one of the following sectors: furniture delivery, low‑current systems, or smart solutions.
