The Career Nest is seeking a Junior Pastry Sous Chef for an upscale Al Khobar kitchen. You will support the Head Pastry Chef, manage daily pastry production from viennoiserie to plated desserts, and drive quality with a quiet, consistent excellence.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of pastry experience in fine dining, deep knowledge of pastry techniques, and strong English; French or other European language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of dedicated pastry experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of viennoiserie, doughs, creams, chocolate work, and fillings.
• English fluency is mandatory; French or another European language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute classic and contemporary pastry techniques with precision.
• Mentor and develop the pastry team; lead in the Head Pastry Chef's absence.
• Plan daily production; monitor shelf life and FIFO labeling standards.
• Ensure hygiene, quality, and safe, clean workspace.
• Manage costs and inventory; minimize waste while maintaining quality.
