We are seeking a highly skilled IN Back Office Engineer to support mission-critical Ericsson Charging Systems within a telecom operations environment. Detailed Job Description

As an IN Back Office Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing Ericsson Charging Systems, ensuring high availability and performance of telecom services. You will be responsible for handling incidents, managing change requests, and executing configuration updates across IN platforms. The role demands deep technical expertise in Ericsson charging nodes, virtualization environments, and telecom core network systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve service degradations, implement new features, and improve overall network performance. This position is ideal for experienced telecom engineers comfortable working in high‑pressure, shift‑based environments supporting live production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 2nd level troubleshooting and fault resolution for IN and charging systems
• Manage trouble tickets and ensure timely resolution of customer-impacting issues
• Execute software, hardware, and configuration changes in production environments
• Design and implement tariffs, service classes, and IN configurations
• Monitor and analyze network performance, traffic patterns, and service degradation
• Handle change requests and perform scheduled maintenance activities
• Support network optimization initiatives and service improvements
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to operational excellence
• Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with operational standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong expertise in Ericsson Charging Systems (SDP, CCN, AIR, VS, ECMS, OCC, IVR, NgCRS)
• Proven experience in IN business configuration, tariff implementation, and RMA handling
• Solid understanding of GSM and WCDMA network technologies
• Strong Linux administration, Oracle database, and Unix shell scripting skills
• Good knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, HA clustering)
• Experience with HP C7000, 3PAR storage, SAN switches, and virtualized nodes
• Knowledge of SDP geo-redundancy, switchover, fallback, and SUF playlist management
• Understanding of Ericsson core nodes (MSC, GMSC, STP, HLR) and OSS frameworks
• Ability to work in shift-based operations and handle critical incidents

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in LTE/VoLTE or 5G core integration with charging systems
• Familiarity with automation or scripting for operational efficiency
