Job summary
A consultancy firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Consultant in Accounting, Reporting & Consulting. The role involves supporting client engagements, particularly in IFRS advisory, financial statement preparation, and IPO readiness. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, ideally with SOCPA certification, and 0-2 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of local regulations is a plus. This position serves as a critical point for enhancing client outcomes through professional advisory services.

- Support client engagements related to IFRS advisory and conversions.
- Prepare financial statements and perform reviews.
- Assist in preparing client deliverables and reports.

- Accounting policy development and gap analysis
- Complex accounting issues (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments)
- Conduct technical research and prepare accounting memos or working papers.
- Assist in preparing client deliverables, reports, presentations, and financial models.
- Work closely with senior consultants and managers to execute project plans and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Develop a strong understanding of client business operations and industry context.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards (primarily IFRS).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- SOCPA certification (or in progress) is required.
- Other professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are a plus.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting, audit, or advisory, preferably in a professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
