Job summary

AccorHotel Medina is seeking an attentive Concierge to assist guests with hotel and local inquiries, coordinate with city services, and ensure smooth daily operations. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of city highlights, directions, and services, while managing mails, messages, and guest security.

You will also be responsible for responding to calls, attending briefings, and upholding high standards of appearance and service.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages will be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Concierge: assist guests with all inquiries, hotel and non-hotel related
• Attend shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
• Maintain knowledge of city activities and directions to points of interest
• Manage guests’ mails, messages, courier services and parcel postage
• Maintain order and security of guest keys per Front Office policy
• Receive telephone calls and take messages for guests who are out
• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage services and hotel features
• Be familiar with hotel fire and life safety procedures
• Attend management trainings and briefings as required
• Present a neat, uniform appearance at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
