Hotel: Amaala (RSIAM), Amaala, northwestern coast, of the Red Sea

Duties and Responsibilities

As General Cashier, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following

• Receives and records in the general cashier’s daily report and include in the daily deposit all cash and checks received in the mail.
• Prepares and makes the bank deposit. Assures that all receipts for the day are deposited the
  following banking day.
• Prepares General Cashier’s Daily Report and issue official receipts for cheques and other cash receipts.
• Prepares the monthly report on foreign currency sold and purchased after the end of each month.
• Reconciles balance of cash in bank.
• Prepares payroll every month.
• Keeps informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process.
• Provides information to hosts and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit plans, and collective agreement provisions.
• Complies with governmental and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
  

Qualifications

To execute the position of General Cashier, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• Diploma or equivalent in Finance or Accounting and professional accounting body certification and at least 1 year experience in a hotel accounting role or similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degreefrom a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Technical skills include advanced MS Office,Outlook platformsand Materials Control (MC), plus able to operate 10-key calculators and to perform calculations. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms.
