Filling Maintenance Technician – Al Safi Danone (ASD)

Location: Al Kharj

Department: Manufacturing – Maintenance

Role Summary

The Filling Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining filling and packaging systems and equipment through effective preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty components. The role supports operational reliability, production performance, safety compliance, and efficient resource utilization within assigned filling cells.

Key Accountabilities

Safety & Work Environment

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by strictly following safety standards, procedures, and site regulations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational policies at all times.

Maintenance Operations

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality and reliability of filling and packaging equipment.
• Restore, repair, rebuild, or replace faulty or inoperative components and parts.
• Apply approved preventive maintenance programs and procedures consistently.

Performance & Planning

• Monitor and analyze performance indicators (TE, OE, MTTR, MTBF, TD, etc.) and use them to define action plans and maintenance priorities.
• Participate in FDS processes and prioritize work orders into preventive maintenance plans (yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily) aligned with site SQCDM priorities.
• Lead and manage resources and maintenance activities for assigned cells (UHT / TTOP).

Budget & Spare Parts Management

• Contribute to maintenance budget planning by providing accurate data and forecasts.
• Monitor maintenance expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure availability of the right spare parts for all assigned cells.
• Determine and justify budgets related to spare parts, internal labor, and contractors.

Job Requirements

• Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in dairy and juice filling and packing machines for bottles, cups, and carton packages, including high‑speed and complex end‑of‑line automation.
• Ability to work on both mechanical and electrical aspects of filling machines.
• Strong knowledge of the dairy industry is mandatory.
