Overview
Role Overview: The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of growth strategies to expand the company's project portfolio, build long-term client relationships, and explore new business opportunities aligned with the company’s subcontracting-based model in construction and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction by developing goals and objectives, defining performance metrics, conducting evaluative tracking, monitoring progress, and reporting on results.
- Develop and lead the implementation of Tasawy’s multi-year New Business Development Strategy, in collaboration with Executive Management Team, and the Strategy will include annual financial targets and analysis of target markets.
- Identify, track, and manage the existing market portfolio as well as new business development opportunities and activities in support of the Company’s growth and profitability strategies and general business objective.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new businesses / Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) opportunities and prepare Business Plans, Risk Analysis, KPIs etc. Also prepare competitive analysis and comprehensive market potential for alternative project delivery opportunities.
- Identification and Development of Prospects, Presentations, Business Plan & Strategies, Networking, Competitor Analysis, Customer Relationships, Strategic tie-ups and positioning for Joint Ventures / Subcontracts, Pre-qualifications, etc.
- Source, conduct, implement, and manage relationships with regional, multinational clients, relocation management companies, and other companies in new go-to-market opportunities in the GCC region.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development with project capabilities.
- Be the primary point of contact for internal and external matters about the strategic development plans, prioritize and determine the appropriate course of action also to understand and shape the company’s strategy and mission and develop plans to materialize strategy, and analyze business proposals.
Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
Preferred:
Masters
Experience
15 - 20 years’ experience in a Senior business development management role with a proven track record in making strategic.
