Tangent International is seeking an experienced Cloud Performance Engineer to support a large-scale cloud infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on performance analysis, capacity planning, optimization, troubleshooting, and operational excellence across OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenShift, virtualization, networking, and storage domains.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Performance Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with OpenStack and Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVi).
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
• Strong knowledge of VMware and KVM virtualization technologies.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with Ceph and enterprise cloud storage technologies.
• Deep understanding of BGP, VXLAN, SDN, and spine‑leaf architectures.
• Experience using Prometheus, Grafana, and performance monitoring tools.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and automation frameworks.
• Strong scripting skills for automation and operational efficiency.
• Experience in telecom, telecommunications, or mobile core network environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud infrastructure performance and identify bottlenecks affecting service delivery.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize OpenStack, NFVi, Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance forecasting for cloud infrastructure resources.
• Optimize compute, storage, and networking performance across large-scale cloud platforms.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and operational improvements.
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware, KVM, and virtualization platforms.
• Perform cloud network analysis across BGP, VXLAN, SDN, and spine‑leaf architectures.
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and related observability tools.
• Optimize storage performance within Ceph and cloud storage environments.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure deployments using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and scripting technologies.
• Collaborate with operations, architecture, and engineering teams to improve platform reliability and efficiency.
• Produce performance reports, capacity recommendations, and technical documentation.
