Tangent International is seeking an experienced Cloud Performance Engineer to support a large-scale cloud infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on performance analysis, capacity planning, optimization, troubleshooting, and operational excellence across OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenShift, virtualization, networking, and storage domains.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Performance Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Architect, or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with OpenStack and Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVi).
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
• Strong knowledge of VMware and KVM virtualization technologies.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with Ceph and enterprise cloud storage technologies.
• Deep understanding of BGP, VXLAN, SDN, and spine‑leaf architectures.
• Experience using Prometheus, Grafana, and performance monitoring tools.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and automation frameworks.
• Strong scripting skills for automation and operational efficiency.
• Experience in telecom, telecommunications, or mobile core network environments.

Detailed Job Description

As a Cloud Performance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure platforms within a complex managed services environment. You will analyze system behavior, identify performance bottlenecks, optimize cloud resources, and support ongoing infrastructure transformation initiatives. Working closely with cloud architects, operations teams, and telecom engineers, you will enhance platform efficiency across OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenShift, virtualization, networking, and storage domains. The role requires deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, and performance monitoring tools while supporting mission-critical telecom and mobile core workloads.
