Job summary

Tangent International in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced IN Performance Engineer to support Ericsson IN, VAS, and Charging systems. You will monitor performance, run KPI analyses, and drive optimization in a managed services environment.

You will analyze CDRs, signaling traces, and configurations; perform RCA for issues; develop automation scripts in Python and SQL; and produce dashboards for stakeholders. 5G SA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Ericsson Intelligent Network (IN), VAS, and Charging Systems.
• Strong knowledge of Mobile Core Network performance management and optimization.
• Experience analyzing charging configurations, Call Detail Records (CDRs), and signaling traces.
• Hands-on expertise in telecom KPI monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience reviewing HLD, LLD, MOP documentation, and supporting E2E testing activities.
• Strong understanding of telecom service architectures and charging ecosystems.
• Experience working within managed services or telecom operator environments.
• Advanced SQL skills for reporting and data analysis.
• Experience developing automation solutions using Python.
• Strong Linux and Shell scripting expertise.
• Knowledge of VBA for reporting and operational automation.
• Hands-on experience with ENIQ and UPM performance management tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the performance of Ericsson IN, VAS, and Charging platforms.
• Investigate network and service KPIs to identify performance degradation and optimization opportunities.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for service issues and performance anomalies.
• Analyze charging configurations, CDRs, and signaling traces to improve service reliability and efficiency.
• Conduct end-to-end testing and validation of service enhancements and network changes.
• Review and analyze High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Generate automated reports, dashboards, and performance trend analyses for stakeholders.
• Utilize ENIQ and UPM platforms for performance management and advanced analytics.
• Develop SQL queries and automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer teams to implement performance improvements.
• Support performance assessment and optimization of 5G Standalone (5G SA) and VAS services.
• Contribute to capacity planning, service assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document findings, recommendations, and optimization actions in line with operational standards.
