Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineer to support process design, optimization, and technical operations within our oil and gas facilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to safe, reliable, and efficient production by applying advanced engineering principles to refining, petrochemical processing, or upstream production systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and update PFDs, P&IDs, and process simulations.
  • Optimize plant processes to improve production, energy use, and cost efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and support daily plant activities.
  • Participate in HAZOP, PHA, and safety compliance activities.
  • Prepare technical specifications and support project engineering tasks.
  • Monitor key process parameters and provide performance reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s a plus).
  • 3–7 years experience in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical plants.
  • Proficient in process simulation tools (Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus).
  • Strong knowledge of process safety and industry standards (API, ASME).
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
