Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join the HO Projects Department in Riyadh. The role combines office tasks with fieldwork, supporting project planning, design reviews, on-site coordination and quality assurance.

You will work with senior engineers to ensure timely delivery of civil engineering projects, align with Saudi Building Code, safety standards, and sustainability goals under Vision 2030. Growth opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

Assist in planning and documentation for civil engineering projects.
Support on-site inspections and progress reporting.
Collaborate with senior engineers on design reviews and coordination.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules and technical documents.
Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with specs.
Review design drawings, specifications and construction plans with senior engineers.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders for timely delivery.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for internal and client reviews.
Ensure compliance with SBC, safety regulations and quality standards.
Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning.
Utilize AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and MS Project for planning and documentation.
Assist in cost estimates, budgets and resource allocation.
