Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex structural design in Khobar and across Saudi projects. You will collaborate with architects, MEP engineers and project managers to ensure safety and code compliance, while guiding junior engineers and delivering high-quality analyses.

The role offers exposure to BIM tools like Revit, Navisworks and advanced software, with a clear growth trajectory aligned to Vision 2030 for sustainable infrastructure development in the GCC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Civil/Structural Eng from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years in structural engineering with at least 5 in a senior role.
• Proficient in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD Civil 3D; BIM tools like Revit/Navisworks; SBC and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design for complex projects ensuring SBC and international code compliance.
• Perform advanced analyses using ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro to ensure safety.
• Review drawings, calculations and specs by junior engineers and consultants.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers and PMs to integrate designs.
• Ensure registration with SCE and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Conduct site inspections and verify construction against design.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning.
• Collaborate with project management to develop cost-effective, sustainable solutions.
• Stay updated on trends, materials and technologies; support tender bids.
