Job Title: Accountant

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis across the organisation. This role ensures accurate preparation of Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and other financial reports, identifies variances, and provides recommendations to support management decision-making. The Accountant will work with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly Profit & Loss accounts, analysing income and expenditure and identifying variances.
  • Investigate and explain reasons for variances, providing justifications to management.
  • Prepare quarterly Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss accounts, and Cash Flow Statements, highlighting variances compared to previous periods.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements, analysing variances and supporting the annual management report.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to verify accuracy of accounts.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly Cash Flow Statements, detailing sources of income and expenditure.
  • Develop annual projected cash flow forecasts based on budgeted figures.
  • Analyse operational financial data such as business unit profitability and losses, reporting findings to management.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects or business ventures, analysing costs and recommending cost-effective approaches.
  • Report findings and propose financial efficiency improvements to management.
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of business workflows, operations processes, accounting systems, and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Innovative and conceptual thinking.
  • Knowledge of regional laws and regulations related to finance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
