- Prepare and present monthly closing of accounts and prepare monthly management report (Profit & Loss) for review by the Director.
- Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies (account code), approved accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Reconcile discrepancies in different accounts (Inter-company account/transaction).
- Liaise with other parties, auditors, bankers, and tax agents.
- Reconcile and rectify all ledger accounts.
- Maintain required files, reports, and data from other departments.
- Prepare depreciation and loan schedules and summaries.
- Manage renewal of bank guarantees and address bank requests or queries.
- Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Maintain balance sheet schedules.
- Submit SST returns and E-Invoice.
- Supervise staff to accomplish department objectives.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management as required.
Job Requirements
- Must possess at least a Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting standards, E-Invoice, SST & GST regulations.
- Good interpersonal skills, analytical, dynamic, and resourceful.
- A self-starter with initiative and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Required skills: Microsoft Office, SQL Accounting, and auditing.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia & English.
