An engineering recruitment firm in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and demonstrate proficiency in PLC programming and circuit design. Responsibilities include conducting power system studies and preparing technical reports. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success in a dynamic environment.
Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Develop and implement PLC programs for automated systems, optimizing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Conduct power system studies, including load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and protection coordination, to ensure system reliability and safety.
Create detailed circuit designs and schematics using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design principles.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems in a timely manner, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements for process control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and process engineers, to integrate electrical systems into overall plant design.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate design concepts, test results, and project progress to stakeholders.
Must have strong understanding and ability to apply all relevant electrical and engineering formulas in design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
