EHS Compliance Lead — Policy, Audits & Training
Job summary
A global leader in manufacturing is seeking an EHS professional in Penang to develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies and programs. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining compliance with regulations, lead audits, and track corrective actions. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety and have five years of relevant experience. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of international and local EHS laws and regulations.
- Five years of experience in a relevant field.
- Ability to coach engineers and technicians on EHS requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of EHS policies and procedures.
- Prepare compliance reports and maintain records.
- Identify and develop working relationships with regulatory agencies.
- Lead internal and external audits for EHS matters.
- Implement investigations of accidents and incidents.
