A creative digital agency in Petaling Jaya is seeking a detail-oriented Video Editor to create engaging content from raw footage. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, proficiency in English and Mandarin, and a creative portfolio. Responsibilities include editing videos for marketing and educational content, collaborating with teams, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home and office.

Skills
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, high-converting videos – from organic educational content to Facebook/Instagram ads and landing page videos.
- Past Projects Experience > Educational Background
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or other software (primary editing software).
- Working knowledge of Latest skills + Versatile in editing styles
- Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin for clear communication, scripting, subtitles, and on-screen text.
- Able to work independently and also collaborate well within a team.
- Proven creativity and high attention to detail, backed by a portfolio of past video projects.
- Familiar with common video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and resolutions for social media, web, and ads.
- Able to commute to our Petaling Jaya office for filming (hybrid role).
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging video content (Organice + Ads) for marketing, educational, and promotional materials.
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software to produce professional-quality videos with clean cuts, clear audio, subtitles, and simple on-screen text.
- Work with the marketing and content teams to understand project objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes, ensuring all videos support brand and messaging.
- Manage and organise video assets (footage, audio, graphics) and maintain a clear, efficient workflow for ongoing projects.
- Ensure all video content follows brand guidelines and quality standards, and refine videos based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay current with video editing best practices, software updates, and industry trends, and continuously improve editing quality.
