Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Counsel & advise clients on their medication regimens and health conditions.
• Screen prescriptions and dispense accurately.
• Provide relevant health tips and advice according to individual needs to encourage improvement in achieving a healthy lifestyle.
• Recommend suitable health supplements and/or personal care products to promote preventive care.
• Provide basic health screenings and other related patient care services.
• Check medications for expiry dates and ensure medicines are correctly and safely supplied, in adequate quantity, and properly labeled.
• Maintain the standards of pharmacy practice within the pharmacy.
• Provide coverage for other pharmacists if the need arises.
• Assist in managing/training pharmacist assistants and floor staff.
• Inventory management – assist with store stock takes, monitor expired/shortage of products, reconcile inventory records vs physical stock, and ensure product availability while controlling costs and working within storage constraints.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with government regulations.
• Execute best pharmacy practices and follow guidelines provided by authorities and the company.
• Maintain prescription and poison book records.

Job requirements:

• Fully registered Pharmacist under the Malaysia Pharmaceutical Board.
• Possesses at least a Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent, and eligible to obtain License A.
• Able to work on rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays.
