A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive/Senior Executive to manage accounts receivable or costing functions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-5 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector. Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel is essential. This role also demands strong knowledge of financial regulations and the ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin. We're seeking a Finance Executive / Senior Executive to join our grow your career in a thriving, multicultural manufacturing environment with primary focus on one of three specializations based on your strengths:
Finance Executive (Accounts Receivable)
Finance Senior Executive (Costing)
What You'll Do:
Finance Executive (Accounts Receivable)
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice processing: Receiving, Verifying, and entering invoices into accounting system, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Payment registration: Matching incoming customer payments to their corresponding open invoices.
Aging analysis: Provide a clear snapshot of the status of receivables and identify potential collection risks.
Credit management: Establish safe credit limits and terms that maximize sales while minimizing bad debt risk.
Allowance for Doubtful Accounts: Adhere to the matching principleof accounting by recognizing an expense for bad debts in the same period the related revenue was earned.
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or above, major in Accounting, Finance and other related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in costing or management accounting, preferably in manufacturing or production industry.
Proficient with ERP and Excel.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards to ensure compliance to best practices.
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is an added advantage.
Finance Senior Executive (Costing)
Key Responsibilities:
Production Cost Accounting: Capturing, Recording, and Analyzing all costs incurred to produce goods.
Inventory Management (Receiving & Issuing): Receiving: Verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders, recording receipts into the inventory system, and updating inventory values. Issuing: Controlling the release of materials to the production floor based on authorized work orders, ensuring accurate tracking of what was used for each job or process.
Cost Variance Analysis: Identify the root causes of differences (variances) in Material Costs, Labor Costs, Overhead Costs.
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or above, major in Accounting, Finance and other related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in costing or management accounting, preferably in manufacturing or production industry.
Proficient with ERP and Excel.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards to ensure compliance to best practices.
Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is an added advantage.
