Role Description

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be pivotal in leading our team to meet deadlines, ensuring exceptional client service, and optimizing operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team, ensuring cohesive teamwork and timely delivery.
• Strong commitment to work and ability to work under stressful environments.
• Review accounting entries, payments, and tax computations before submission to clients or authorities.
• Client Coordination: Coordinate and meet client requirements, allocating tasks among team members.
• Progress Monitoring: Oversee project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Problem Resolution: Support junior team members in addressing day-to-day challenges, and fostering skill development.
• Process Enhancement: Identify operational improvements, develop procedures, and SOPs to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, professional degree in ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CAT and preferably member of MIA.
• Experience in Consulting, or Services industry is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and events is a plus
• Fluency in English and Malay is required

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 4-5 years experience in accounting, with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Expertise: Proficiency in Autocount accounting software, knowledge of accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and propose strategic solutions.
• Initiative: Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
